im surprised Atlanta is on the list So many people feel like Atlanta is no nationally none are dont have any influence at all on the world But i always felt atlanta had a of economic power I remember this Houston Vs atlanta who is more nationally known. here is where that map came from

I hope Houstonians do not catch feelings and bash cities just because they do not see their city in this list. But when you look at the criteria, it is amazing that it isn't listed. Even people that dislike Houston on SSP and SSC a few months ago when this was posted was shocked at the omission of Houston. I know I was.

I totally agree. The GAWC Inventory of World Cities is probably the worst list of Alpha/Beta cities I ever seen. Probably something to do with their formula. I do hope Caracas and Auckland enjoy their "Alpha City status"!

Probably the only list I seen where Athens comes ahead of Berlin or Washington.
