In terms of any criteria you can think of (nightlife, people, layout, food, etc.) which city (BOS or DC) is more similar to NYC? And why?

Capitol Hill, Diplomatic Services, National Intelligence, Politics, WR, NGO, DC law firms, are closer to NYC than doctors, nurses, educators, factory workers, etc in Boston.

NYC and DC are developed with 250 miles of suburbs in between. Worlds power tilts there. Both are in the worlds 10 most powerful cities IMO.

These "most like NYC" threads are ridiculous. There is not a city like NYC in this country, even the world. Just stop it!

Boston, definitely. DC has a different feel, IMO.

After Philly, Boston is the U.S. city that feels closest to NYC.

Boston feels like it could be a toenail of NYC.

DC is not really like NYC at all other than being very powerful.

Honda Civic, Toyota Camry and Nissan Sentry : which of these vehicles is more like Lamborghini Superleggera? Lol. Another insane, mindless topic.
