Umm...Chicago by far. Atlanta has an impressive skyline, don't get me wrong, but its buildings are dwarfed by Chicago both in height and in numbers. Atlanta's skyline is more on par with cities like Dallas and Philadelphia and maybe Boston. It's big, but it's no New York or Chicago. It might compare however to San Francisco.

I don't think we'll see this with the way Atlanta's topography is. Chicago's skyline is growing, too, by the way.

The thread was created by Rwarky. But with Rwarky...it was/is different. He only wanted to show us how we were outnumbered, outgunned, outmatched, and seeming mad, we realized the importance of our monument. On that day, half a century ago, our species was pushed to the crumbling edge of extinction and as we teetered on that precipice, staring down at the abyss, a hand reached out, pulled us back from the brink and gave us hope... the hand of a hero.

I'll be honest here, our downtown/mid-town skyline is about 1/4 the size of Chicago's if not less.

Atlanta's skyline is truly awesome and very beautiful at night. However Chicago's skyline is the end all/be all of skylines. No comparison.

A more apt thread would be to compare Chicago's and New York's skylines.

I agree, and I live in Atlanta.
The Architectural River Cruise is one of my favorite things to do in Chicago.

Anyone that thinks Atlanta has a better skyline than Chicago is insane
Because it gives the Atlanta bashers YET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY to diminish our city.

Yeah this is one of those threads to no even get upset. I think atlantas skyine will grown in the direction that chicago went if you look at the pics IF atlanta filled in the gaps with taller skyscrapers it could favor chicago a lil
