If you include all of Atlantas skylines, its bigger than LA, but there is no way that Downtown Atlanta And Midtown together could be larger than Los Angeles...Atleast thats what I think.

You've got it backwards.

The Downtown-Midtown Atlanta Skyline is bigger than the downtown L.A. skyline.

However, even with Atlanta's suburban skylines (technically, Buckhead is in the city), the L.A. area has more of them.

Here's the L.A. skyline from somewhere around five to ten miles away (no telescopic lens)

And those 505 are spread around the metro, as Atlanta's 214 are spread around the metro. Downtown-wise, however, Atlanta has a larger skyline. I've contended that LA has more suburban skylines than Atlanta and, thus, has more buildings overall. Atlanta's cbd, however, is larger than LA's.

They have a few areas/streets where the buildings are like that, side by side, and composed of midrises. Sure, LA beats Atlanta in that type of density. That said, it's skyline is not more impressive, and the cbd is only minimally more dense, considering all the infill that has taken place in Atlanta's cbd over the past ten years.

What do you know, from that angle, half of Atlanta's skyline is out of view. Yet, much less than half of L.A.'s skyline is out of view.

Atlanta wins.

I like Atlanta skyline (CBD) at this moment the best because LA haven't cleaned up it's air pollution as of yet , but when they do that 10,000 foot Mountain in the background is going to blow away everybody skyline even NYC.....I like Los Angeles Metro Skyline much more than Atlanta...
