That's awesome. I want to go to that show too. Cannot find ANYONE around my age who is the least bit interested But I'll be going regardless.

I aint gonna lie, that's pretty cool. A subway station under an arena. Easy access.

I'd say the Staples Center. I went to a Clippers game a couple weeks ago and loved it, even though the game sucked. I was going to go to the Lakers game the next night, but I ended up flying out a couple days early to DC for some stuff with the DC Fire Dept.

The outside is very nice with the new LA Live. Everything looked gorgeous and I really liked the atmosphere. The public transportation to the Staples Center isn't much worse. I took the subway and was there very easily.

Here are some more pics that include LA Live where the Staples Center is located:

LA Live's site has a lot more pictures: L.A. LIVE
^^^Now that's hot. That's why I voted for Staples Center. La Live gave it a HUGE edge for my vote.

Not to mention the NY Rangers play in MSG as well

I will pass on Staples Center
5hr drive? If you live in NYC it would be a 3 day drive. Why not just fly? Anyway LA Live is a BEAST.

it's criminal. Penn Station went from being the greatest railroad palace to being a low-ceiling dimly-lit underground mess underneath an arena. There's a quote, I forget who said it, that goes like, "We used to enter New York City like kings, now we scurry in like rats." I can't wait for a new MSG and the NEW train stations (plural) around 34th Street!
Nice quote. But whoever said that must be pretty high maintenence. LOL

Lucky for me my best friend I'm traveling with wants to check out MSG b/c of its history and how famous it is or I'd probably wouldn't have anyone to go with either. They put on a great show though, I saw them in San Diego and in the Bay Area back in 2005. I went by myself to the show in the Bay Area b/c no one I knew there was interested in paying that much to see them, not fun going alone but it was worth it and I'm glad I went again. They actually added a second show for NYC, you should definitely go.

I agree. NYC gives MSG the edge with all those voters. Im not slighting MSG because it does have nice history and all, but c'mon we all know it's location in Historical and popular Manhattan gives it an edge. I agree if you switched them, Staples would be winning easily.

I don't know what La Live is, but lets not think that MSG is located in the middle of no where. It is only a few blocks west of Herald Sq., only 8 blocks ( or 1 subway stop ) downtown from Times Sq, right atop Penn Station with trains to all over the Northeast, NJ and the A C E,1 2 3 subway lines, and a short walk from the B D F V N Q R and W subway lines at 34th Herald Sq. I'm sure La Live can't match that part of Midtown Manhattan.

I don't know exactly when they announced it but I didn't even realize it until Monday when I was actually buying my tickets and saw it on their website: depeche mode dot com

I'm glad they added the Tuesday show b/c I am flying from Chicago that Monday and didn't want to miss the show due to some flight delay. Got tix for section 103, can't wait!

Thanks, ever since I was a little kid I've always wanted to go to NYC but my parents never wanted to go, we always went to Hawaii instead. And the past couple years have either been Mardi Gras or Hawaii, so I'm pretty excited about finally making it out to NYC. Hoping to get tickets to the Yankees/Red Sox game that weekend and check out the new stadium too!
