That new stadium always makes me think brokeback mountain

The New Meadowlands stadium looks like a giant spaceship - there is an indoor ski slope next to it

The Cowboys stadium looks ridiculously massive, like it's pointless being that huge. It would've been far more impressive if it had a great city view.

That is one thing ablout the Meadowlands - on approach from the Western spur of the (the w's) Jersey Turnpike there are some great views of manhatten. also the approach on route 3 down from Nutley IMHO is one of the best views - the whole linear skyline of Midtown and Downtown plus Jersey City - pretty cool actually. I go through there at least once a week

Yeah, most cities strive for that kind of view or similar views of their cities highlighted structures.

Dallas did the reverse. They went further from the city, they're not in either Fort Worth or Dallas.

Who's got the worst stadium?

Minnesota Vikings, but we like it there, and so do they!

How come the Twins got a new stadium but the Vikes didnt??
The Vikes are a much better organization IMO than the Twins in regards to winning and staying relevant..although the Twins do a very good job of producing a contender with a limited payroll.

Meadowlands is not in NYC. You can see both the Dallas and FW skyline from Cowboys Stadium. Fact is, the stadium is close to the geographic center of the DFW metroplex.

This is really no contest. The only reason the two are in the same ballpark costwise is because of the price of land, labor and materials in the NE. Cowboys Stadium was mostly built with local materials. Concrete, turf, steel, screens, all manufactured with local materials. Much cheaper labor. Much cheaper land. Cowboys Stadium could easily have been a $2 billion project anywhere else.
