It's the same as comparing Chicago to New York.

The opposite is also true: London most definitely is not Chicago.

I'll never, ever understand a high opinion of London. It's the world's most poorly constructed city. "Quality control", "standardization" and "efficiency" are but three terms the English have only passing familiarity with.
