Irvine is not Coastal Though the City limits are pretty close to the Coast.

Uh yeah but in a planning sense a community can be greatly affected if they do not meet adequate preparation.

It is your type of thinking that exacerbates disasters like Katrina.

If you've been to Southern California, you probably know what the inland areas outside of any coastal influence looks like (desert). You probably won't survive in Denver once the winds shift and there is a lack of water in the Intermountain West.

Riiight, we'll build levees against the Pacific Ocean.

Does California have hurricanes? Umm...the water is too cold.

I have no idea what you are referring to in terms of a drought disaster in Denver via wind. Please post a link as I have yet to come across this in my natural disaster literature.

What are you talking about? I know most every one of those posters.

Who are these posters?

Oh, guys like.... AK$&, AnimeWorkshop, Geopolitics, HannahMontannagoestoJ(it's still a felony!), IAMHERO, JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ, LOLHAWWIAA(Oops, you misspelled your state name), NAPLES123456, SNOPPDOGGYDOGG(you misspelled snoop and you misspelled dog), VisitUS; why did you pick LA over Denver?

Or right here;

Show me one Denver poster that's not legit. One! Much less 14!

What's old JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ up to these days? Click on every one of those Denver poster's profiles and you'll see they have a # of posts that's more than ZERO.

So there again, you fail. That's a lie. What's your point anyway?

If you can't be trusted on little things, you certainly can't be trusted on big things. At least some from the LA or California had the guts to admit someone from LA caused all the phantom voting; not to try to pin it back on Denver posters!

I like L.A., but prefer Denver for it's 4 seasons, transit system, proximity to so many mountains on one side with the Great Plains on the other, affordability, clean air and water, smaller scale, friendliness, lots of culture and museums, etc.

I like CA too, plan to visit Sacramento this year to see the railroad museum, revisit Napa to ride the Wine Train, visit the vineyards we toured 35 years ago on our honeymoon, and who knows what else....

Don't cities being compared at least have to be on the same planet?

I still can't believe people created fake user names in order to boost their city's rank...whether they were from Denver or LA, it's pretty sad.
