Yeah I'd say both Houston and SA are reminiscent of LA county.

Great thead! Out of the cities posted, I think Houston and San Antonio have a diverse housing stock archtecurally and both look very simlilar to LA County especially Houston, no other cities have step up to the plate yet. (besides Chicago and Cincy). Hope someone post more great housing architecture of other cities. I looked around and found more great architecture of Houston, enjoy.

The thing is about people showing pics of those cities in the Southwest or West coast, what % of that housing stock is "diverse"? Cookie cutter homes (even in the cities with the "new' condo buildings) are more the norm in those parts of the country compared to the much older places in the Midwest, Northeast, or East coast.

And what % of those home that where shown, would have great wood work, stain glass, etc in them.

You can post any city anywhere in the U.S (did you read the first post of this thread?) and don't you see the pics? If thats not diverse to you, then I don't know what is unfortunately. Also why would the houses shown not have great wood work, stain glass etc in them? You'll have to find the "'%'s" yourself.
