Denver:

Denver gets whiter; suburbs more diverse - The Denver Post

"A Denver Post analysis of state birth records shows that the racial integration of the central city and suburbs that began in the 1990s intensified through this decade. The analysis shows that Denver is getting considerably whiter, while its suburbs have gained in minority — primarily Latino — population. "

No, I haven't been there yet. Next year I turn 18, so Im going to try and move out there for community college sometime early next year after I get my GED. So Im trying to study up on the area. If I move out there it would probably be to Oakland because thats where you can get some of the cheapest rent prices in the bay area.

You can also find cheap rent in Vallejo and Solano counties and overall the crime is not as bad as oakland. Also in the north bay sonoma county is fairly cheap compared to the rest of the area. Also in Sonoma Co. is one of the best and largest community colleges in the nation, which is Santa Rosa Junior College. I am not sure if you've heard of Santa Rosa but it is a cool place, gateway to wine country where they grow the doja. More diverse than the statistics indicate with a population between 150,000-200,000. About an hour to SF and OAK.

Yeah Vallejo was another one of the places I was thinking about too. I'll have to look into that college you mentioned. Only bad thing is I won't be able to get grants there for college because I live in Colorado right now, and I would have to live in California for a certain period of time before I became eligable for the grants there. But I'll just take student loans out, alot of other people do that. Thanks for the suggestions.
