The difference is, I'm not a teacher.....

You also stated they have Disney in Europe, your point is?? They also have amazing shopping, history, culture, and architecture there too that beats NYC. It's the fact that they are open-minded and don't mind trying new things and seeing new places. Everyone isn't miserable like you and actually find riding horses, cow tipping, nascar, and whatever else you consider redneckish fun. You obviously base your own personal experiences on reasons to hate the south without actually giving it a chance.

We know there is a big difference between Houston and Jackson,MS or Miami and Jacksonville, and that is cool because if everything was the same, this country would suck. Some people perfer Urban Living, some people perfer rural living. Deal with it, hopefully one day you'll move to NYC and we won't have to listen to you whine and complain anymore.

I'll believe that one when I see it, LOL.
He's just plain wrong about pro sports...he's running out of insults and grasping at straws - as usual.

There are just as many pro teams in the South as there are anywhere else...we all know that, but here they are:

NFL in the South: Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, Washington D.C.

NBA in the South: Memphis, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Washington D.C., Oklahoma City

NHL in the South: Nashville, Atlanta, Raleigh, Washington D.C., Tampa, Miami, Dallas

MLB in the South: Atlanta, Washington D.C., Miami, Tampa, Dallas, Houston

It's so cute how every time someone posts a rebuttal to the nonsense of Rachael or NYC, they respond in pairs. It's hilarious - they are like twins.
