Well that's an intersting point and it's where our bi-racial president is from.

Ya this topic has already come up a million times, not sure why it keeps being resurrected just do a search.

Best cities are easily all west coast cities. LA, San Fran, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, etc etc..

It has to be New York City. It is a melting pot for anything and everything. The people of NYC, who have lived their for generations, often look very unique because they are mixes of everything. I think New York City would be the best choice.

It seems like major college towns are also good for interracial couples too.

Besides the West (basically all large West USA cities are accepting of it) the large Midwest cities will tolerate it (Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, St. Louis). New England seems accepting as well.

Basically if you're in the South heaven help you if you are interracial couple. Austin, New Orleans and Miami seem the most accepting.

In the South I would imagine that it would cause more controversy depending on the couple as well. For example, in Tennessee if a black man dates a white woman, look out! But if it is a white man dating a black woman, he'll catch flak but not be in danger of his life.

I think pretty much anywhere a white man / asian woman is accepted. The reverse maybe not as much in the South but everywhere else it's OK.

Basically, with the exception of a few enclaves in the South, and the breadbasket states, it's pretty racist there but more accepting in other places.

I think outside of those major cities in the South, military towns seem to be fine too. When I was at Fort Gordon, just outside of Augusta GA, you would see some interracial couples and/or kids of a mixed racial background.

I also think the Southern states like Virginia and North Carolina are better than the states in the Deep South.
