Yeah I know! They are working on trying to get something developed around the Buffalo Bayou downtown:

Granted, this is purely in the proposal stages and I don't even think they've secured the funds for it yet. It's a very ambitious proposal, but hey, so is Houston.

I don't think that project is going to happened because if you noticed all the development going around that area of town; none of it looks like anything in those pictures.

I'm really hoping Regent Square goes through; Houston lacks a true walkable urban area.

I think that's the visionary project, but the city has been interested development along the Buffalo Bayou downtown for quite some time, so it may not be quite that intricate, but I would expect to see some urban development going on in that area.

Regent Square would be cool. I agree. Houston needs more walkable urban areas. What part of town is Regent Square proposed to be built?
