I could ask people if they think New York is the second most imoprtant state and they would laugh. It's all anecdotal. It's just people's opinions. New York very well may be the second most important state to you, but to us, Texas is. There's no point in either state trying to force it down each others' throats.

My take.. In a city argument, NYC clearly wins, in a state argument, its harder to say...

you guys are freaking close minded and have a texas-centric view of the u.s.!!! just like most people have a u.s. centric view of the world! both of them are a shame! that is what she is saying! nobody else agrees with you! pretty much everybody agrees with new york who isn't extremely biased.

nyc in worldly affairs??? #1... texas in worldly affairs??? not even on the radar. bush sealed the deal on that and most people in the world, texas is the butt of a joke, if anything. this is truth.

yeah texas is a cool state with cool cities, but outside of texas nobody really cares that much.

you are not thinking outside the box ... you .. and her...are meaningless in this equation, don't attack her just b/c you are wrong on something. really it is okay. just b/c she lives there doesn't change that in this case.
