Things are turning around for Tulsa and that delights me......LOL

Well for starters Oklahoma is underrated. Not sure why everyone thinks Oklahoma all flat, when the eastern part of the state is very similar to that of North Carolina.
Tulsa's weather is kind of interesting. Sometimes humid, sometimes dry. Tulsa averages 42 inches of rain a year. Whereas OKC, which is only an hour and a half away only averages 35 inches. Those 7 inches of rain throughout the year make a big difference. Tulsa has more trees and is usually much greener than OKC. However it's not immune to drought, this year has been kinda rough. Tulsa's topography is a better match for charlotte than OKC. However OKC has more ammenities and a better economy. All 3 cities really have some positives as the pics have shown.
Good points you make. Tulsa's summer weather is quite uncomfortable. I worked outdoors there one summer when I was young and had more energy. Plan on mid 90s most days with lots of humidity, A/C on 24/7. I suspect Charlotte is slightly milder, but I've never been there.
My biggest question is, why isn't Tulsa growing faster? Seems like a lovely town (at least the south side) and the people are nice, I thought. The town is known for its older Art Deco architecture. Cost of living there is dirt cheap too. Any Tulsa residents know about the mediocre economy??
