Default Chicago Vs Brooklyn

Having grown up all my life in Chicago, and never really seen that much of Brooklyn, do you think I would have a difficult time adjusting to life in Brooklyn? I realize that it's a big borough (and Chicago's a big city) but I'm mostly referring to the North Side of Chicago compared to gentrified (or already safe) neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Like is there a lot of stuff to do, good restaurants, all that stuff. (and yes, I realize that Brooklyn is not it's own city.)

You should be ok. There are different neighborhoods with different kind of people if you know what I mean. If you are by that then is ok. I mean I grew up with Black and Hispanics people in the Bronx, so when I moved to Va Beach. I felt odd being with a lot of White people, but now I'm ok. I have gotten accustom.
