Since I've never been I can't really say, so I'll leave it up to you. Although Utah and Montana seem particularly scenic and diverse. This is a pretty subjective poll so vote for the state you think has the most beautiful scenery.

This is really to difficult. Each one is actually very uniquely beautiful in its own way. The Colorado Rockies are just powerful and downright gorgeous.

Utah is just amazing. Arches and the Canyon lands are downright jaw dropping wicked beautiful. (One can't describe Utah without enough adjectives.)

Idaho is one of the West's best kept secrets. When I first drove into Idaho I thought is was bland. The Southern part is very barren and desolate. Which every western state has these barren non-pretty parts. Colorado has the Eastern half, Wyoming the Souther half, etc. However when my brother took me into the Sawtooths, they were just as beautiful as Colorado. They are more desolate though. I never made it up into Northern Idaho but I hear it is even more amazing.

My first trip out west was Wyoming. We went through the southern half, and I thought, "This is it???". But going home through the northern part explains Wyoming's beauty.

I really can't say which one is more beautiful. It is something you have to see for yourself, and I have many upon many more places to see out there. I never seen Montana, and next year I will finally make Glacier N.P. But I will vote Colorado since I lived there for a while.

Although it is really close, I chose Montana because of Glacier National Park. The Tetons in Wyoming and Rocky Mountains NP are very beautiful too though. I really need to get to Southern Utah to see all the parks there.

Colorado is the most familiar which is why it gets so many votes. Northwest Wyoming, Southwest Montana and Idaho are the most stunning in my book (of the lower 48). But, if you really want to see some impressive mountains, go to Alaska.

Brilliant pics JMT! As I said, Utah really impresses me! I don't know why it's only received one vote so far. Maybe the LDS things makes people discriminate against it?
