You can't really compare those two states. The differences are too vast.

Who in the world chose Arkansas, and why? Seriously wondering.

I think someone might choose Arkansas if they wanted to live somewhere quiet and slow paced. I believe that's what people see in Arkansas. I couldn't live in that type of environment personally.

Lol well when I say the south I don't really mean the rural aspect of it.

The Ozarks, peace, quiet, religious atmosphere, nature activities, pretending your Huckleberry Finn, etc.

You can get quiet and slow-paced in California pretty easily--California does not equate to only LA or the Bay Area. And although the state government is hurting, that doesn't mean all of CA is hurting. The state is just so vast and diverse that pretty much any lifestyle can work in California and not just a "Californian" lifestyle.

So definitely California for me.

The statement, "'Arkansas is Smart" is self-contradictory to the highest degree, and it's not really being helped by additional statements like:

'i should of did'
'yall take a seat'
'my bad i was confuzed'
and
'dude to bad the south'
