Crazy thread like most people are saying. You're comparing a bike to a video game; two completely different things. Besides, LA county has more people living there, than the entire state of NJ!

LA county is more urban with cities like LA, Long Beach, Pasadena, Glendales, etc. Where as Bergen County is just a bedroom community in the NYC area. Even though its population is close to a million, its largest city ( and county seat) only has a population of 43,000. This will show someone that Bergen is very suburban in nature.

LA County is the most influential area in its vincinity. Where as Bergen has Manhattan right across the Hudson River.

I really don't see anything these two have in common.

I answered truthfully - Bergen County, since I live here and choose to live here every day...

But really, I'd rather live in L.A. for a while. Pasadena. Or Santa Monica, or even Venice. Or Bel-Air. Even, maybe Studio City (which is like the Teaneck of L.A.). Or Glendale or Burbank.

What's with all the Mets fans on this thread? I'm not complaining.

This is an odd comparison. Hollywood Hills vs. Englewood Cliffs, Pasadena vs. Paramus, We-Ho vs. Ho-Ho-Kus, Anaheim vs. East Rutherford, Koreatown vs. Ridgefield, Compton vs... ... Lodi?? Watts vs... ... Fairview? Malibu vs Edgewater?!?!

This is an unfair comparison. Bergen, NJ is a rich suburban county and Los Angeles is a massive urban and suburban county with all the issues that comes with being such.

I used to work in Paramus while living in Rockland County and I know its a great area. Pound for pound, much more liveable and desirable than LA.

A fairer comparison would be Bergen, NJ and San Mateo, CA.

That said, overall, LA County offers much more and one can find superb areas that more than make up for LA's setbacks.

Well... It doesn't matter the population or land area of those two counties; the question is would you rater live in Bergen County, NJ or LA county?

Do you pick to live in a county after the population or land area?!

Well, I could live in Bergen County and Im sure Id like it, but I would probably still pick LA because its more of what I want.

When I was in LA, I lived in Pacific Palisades...
