Although I don't like FL much, I'd take it over Michigan currently...since you said unemployment... isn't it the worst right now? FL is not very good either and jobs you do get will probably pay less when you find one. All the snow and gray days would kill me... I think that side of the lake gets a lot more lake effect snow than say the Chicago/Milwaukee side...though I could be wrong. How about Milwaukee/Chicago? I'd take a vacation in Michigan over FL though...

You are like the number 1 city basher on this board. Have you even been to half the cities you bash on this forum?

Orlando's crime rate is very high. I have 3 students in my class who moved from Orlando to the south Bronx. According to their parents, it's safer here

As a whole, FL's crime rate is one of the worst. Michigan has better schools with less crime, so that's why I picked that. I also need 4 seasons.

Don't tell me where to avoid because I will post where desired.

Orlando, Tampa and Miami is better than anything in Michigan. I am sticking to my opinion and if you dont like it then complain to someone who cares

Have you been to Tampa?

You seem to be bashing it when compared to Philly

Orlando's crime rate is high because of tourist. They are easy bait for criminals as soon as they get off the plane. LOL

I will stick with Florida over Michigan. Also, Orlando over anywhere in Michigan

You can find a lot of areas in FL where crime is not an issue. Id say FL's is worse because more urban areas. Schools? I dont know. Id have to see some proof the MI's are better, but I could believe it. MI has very very distinct seasons.

Live in MI right now, hoping to leave to either TN or FL. MI has some good points, FL has more IMO.
