Tampa mainly because of the weather and beaches but, I would choose Philly because the cheesesteaks are awesome and the downtown area is much more vivrant.
TB Fla seems insecure since there's a need to pull out worthless lists. Tampa is disgusting in the summer. I'd go with Philly and a nice winter condo in tampa (provided somebody else is paying)
Philly is a much better location....not only do you get all of the cultural amenities of Philadelphia itself, you're a short drive from the beach, NYC, DC, plus the mountains of PA. Sure, Tampa has a better winter climate and probably nicer beaches than those close to Philly, but FL to me is a crowded nerve-racking state. Give me Philly anyday.
Also, better sports in Philly....the Phils did just beat Tampa in the WS.
The population numbers dont reflect those stats. If Philly was so bad then..........
Why do 6,385,461 people live in the metro area and only 2,723,949 live in Tampa?
Obviously, Americans as a whole like Philly more because their population is more than double.
Also, have you seen the results of the poll so far?
Considering Philly is so much older than Tampa, of course there are more people. That means nothing. When is the last time Philly saw a growth spert like Tampa has.

I don't see these lists being wothless. I think they adequatly reflect how awful of a place philly is. Even you admitted you would live down here. I wouldnt live in Philly if someone paid me.
