I love San Francisco weather. Pretty much cool and mild all year long. However, I chose LA simply because it has more to offer. Can't go wrong with any of these cities.

SF to me is the most "city" like in CA. LA and SD are pretty similar in the fact we are spread out. Though I am impressed with the progress of downtown SD but due to geography it will probably have to build up more than out in due time.

I still would choose to stay in SD due to my preference for warmer weather.
