Boston has Killington close, but the Poconos are just fine for Philly.
The cape and the Islands are Far superiour to the Jersey shore, there is a reason Cape cod is an international destination.
Center city VS Downtown Boston in all Honesty is wash

You are actually pretty funny

Which gets more visitors btw

I like the Cape and MV but actually prefer the Jersey for a number of reasons; but this is pretty subjective

Again, its a matter of subjectivity. Superior to you, not to me.

Blowouts vs Snobs at the beach is also a wash.

JS is a bit warmer than CC.

I can definitely see where hes coming from though.

As I alluded to before, AA culture is way more prominent in Philly than Boston, and thats pretty important, at least to me.

Whether its run down areas or the art or the music, I do agree that Philly does represent something a bit more "real." Black culture is just way more prominent there.

Its more blue collar than Boston and its way more down to earth. The people of Philly are very fun people. Provincial in a way too. Boston I find to be very elitist and snobbish, also provincial.

Totally agree.

In my opinion DT Boston and CC are a wash. I think if you're talking about an all-around downtown, they're probably better than the Loop in my opinion--though they're nowhere near as visually striking in terms of the awe-factor.

Well it also affects the economy greatly. Boston is arguably the medical/biotech research capital of the world and is close in terms of high technology too. This is a direct result of the top-notch institutions in the area. The fact that it's ranked as the most innovative city on the planet results in an ever-evolving economy which can bolster industries from finance to high tech to medical research and beyond. Whether you realize it or not, it affects you greatly.

It doesn't have AC (though there are Indian Casinos already in CT and several new casinos have been approved for Boston's surrounding areas...including a casino so close you can get there on the T.)...but it absolutely has the beaches. They're closer and just as good if not better. The South Shore, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Block Island and Newport all have gorgeous beaches.

Boston definitely wins in my opinion when it comes to the way they've preserved their historical "feel" in many parts. Philadelphia has Old City of course but Boston just seems to have much more of it.

Sadly there are now 3 casinos in the very close Philly area (One in Northern Liberties in the city); a 4th opening this month in KOP and a 5th to open in the city ( a 6th in Bethlehem (only an hour from CC)). I actually prefer and preffered making the hour trek to AC; felt more like a destination.

That it is

SugarHouse Casino | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | Pure Fun
Which you can take the subway to (personally hate the casinos in Philly)

parx casino | philadelphia casino, racing and nightlife

Delaware Park Horse Racing and Slots - Home

https://www.vfcasino.com/

Though honestly am more excited about this opening (the tallest Casino in the country now Revel in AC)

Revel - Home

Edit: Just read the restaurant line up. Is basically a Iron Chef Garces love fest; looked like 4 Philadelphia replicas just to the east in the Revel
