Of course everyone knows that NYC and Philly are dense

Where do you see sprawl in this metro?

That's why nothing beats living in Bosh-Wash. City after city from DC to Boston. Some very historical and significant like New York, DC, Boston and Philly. Ocean shore and beaches, mountains of PA and NY, incredible variety of cultures form almost southern around DC to really northeastern in New England and then the greatest city in the world: New York... C'mon guys: nothing beats the East Coast. Sorry.

Exactly!!!

You are 100% right with what is in bold

Also, people do not realize that in the north, all of the cities have very good public transit. You do not have to deal with a car payment, gas and car insurance

No, YOU ARE kidding yourself.

There is nothing sprawled about NYC, NJ and Philly

You live in Houston, which is better known as the sprawl capital in the United States

I edited the mispelling

The only thing that you can come up with is that I am kidding myself.

You know that NYC, NJ and Philly is NOT a sprawl. You are just saying it to TRY to get under my skin

If you think this metro area is a sprawl........ Then I would love to hear what you think about Houston. LOL

Nope, I'm not trying to get under your skin, but I guess I did. I like to call Houston "naked sprawl"--makes it sound a lot more sexy than it really is.

Good'ay mate!

Oh, YOU did not get under my skin.

You were TRYING. It did not work though

I have a question............ What is Houston and hour and a half from

I will give you Galveston....... Is that all?

Houston can't compete with Philly or NYC indivdually. Then people realize they are ONLY an hour and fifteen mintues apart and they get jealoius.

Sorry. Philly is better than Houston without NYC

You are talking about isolation of Houston but the same is true for Chicago. There is not much within three hour drive from Chicago. It really feels isolated, in the middle of nowhere.
