Well I was 6 when I went, and I loved the place, probably just as would any other 6 year-old, but now that I'm older I've been kinda turned off by Theme parks, not really my cup of tea. I'm a google maps nerd and I've noticed that Disney World is bigger, but bigger doesn't always equal better.
I guess it depends on what you like and the just the overall satisfaction one gets while being there.
It seems kinda hard to compare a large city to a small one, but these two do a great job in racking in the tourist $$ every year.
Orlando to LA? Better comparison is Orlando to Anaheim.....
Orlando's theme parks are better (we have SeaWorld+ Universal+ A much bigger Disney.....the CA SeaWorld is in Diego)..... traffic is bad for a city the size of Orlando.....but nowhere near as bad as LA is....
