Default What is the largest suburb in your metro area. Post pics if you have any.

Just curious as to what are the largest suburbs out there are. Post any stats and photos of the largest burb in your metro.

The largest suburb of Kansas City, MO is Overland Park, KS. "OP" ,as it's nicknamed locally, has about 180,000 residents.

Even though KC has five suburbs that have 100,000 people, OP is the only city that is much more than a bedroom suburb as it is home to many office parks and corporate headquarters.

Here are some photos of Overland Park.

I believe the largest suburb of Baton Rouge is Central, with a population of around 27,000. Next is the Shenandoah neighborhood, which is 17,000 people.

1) We're "comparing" places, so this belongs in the city vs city room (moving).

2) Please read the forum sticky at the top of the forum, as it outlines the guidelines for posting photos. Thank you.

It would help if posters would name their respective metro area where their suburb lies within.

Anyway, the Katy area (outside of Houston TX) would probably be the largest suburb with over 250,000 residents!

Sorry no photos yet.
