I would have to question whether your statement is true or not. How do you know for certain whether the quality of life is better in Austin/San Antonio unless you've also lived in Tampa, Orlando, and Atlanta?

Because there are actually good career opportunities in the Texas cities versus the Florida cities that are consistantly ranked horrible as far as career opportunities.

No, it is not

The Tampa/Orlando area does not have good jobs for the population

The reason for this is because the majority of the people there don't need jobs......... they are snowbirds

I'd reluctantly choose Austin but I'm not the biggest fan of either place.
