Pittsburgh wins this one hands down, the density and classic skyline of Pittsburgh is a great example of what a skyline should look like.

^The poll suggests otherwise. Pittsburgh simply can't compete with the superior skylines of Atlanta.

I agree, although ainulinale's 'Three Rivers' pic of downtown Pittsburgh was superb.

The variety of architectural styles
The fact that there are three distinct skylines in the city
The view from surrounding neighborhoods of the towers rising up from the treeline, which is rather unique to this city.
That view of Midtown from across Lake Clara Meer in Piedmont Park is breathtaking.

My thing about the PGH skyline is not just the variety of architecture, which Pgh has. The various bridges, the three rivers converging, the hilly landscape, the fact that there is a waterfront makes Pittsburgh very beautiful.

Many of the individual buildings are awesome and unique.
The multiple skylines that can be viewed from so many locations around town.
The large number and variety of skyscrapers.
The lights at night.
The dynamic nature of it. It keeps growing and changing which is exciting.
