That's funny, I initially was going to pick those 2 states also. Nothing wrong with them; just for some reason(size partly) we all seem to forget about them. Actually maybe that's an advantage for them...LOL. .

Whatever tickles your fancy, but St. Louis is a very recognized city. Also, Missouri would be a silly state to get rid of as it offers a lot more than just St. Louis and Kansas City. The Ozarks are some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. And Missouri has contributed a lot to American culture, with the biggest example being Mark Twain (Hannibal, MO).

That was my reason, size. If I had to, I'd want to lose as little as possible.

The two that cost the rest of us the most. I'm guessing California is one, which is the other? It would also be easier to get rid of states on the borders or each ocean because part of the border of those states wouldn't have to be protected by us.

I agree with Texas, give em back to Mexico!
I think Mississippi should be gone too. They haven't done much good for the country aside from being the poster state of the african american civil rights stuff....
