Sooooo, what with all these proliferating threads lately as to which city/state is more/less (insert regional term) than the other?

I just have to ask. Which is less/more?

This is definitely more than that. I mean, it's hard to explain, but it's just different. This stands apart. It has its own identity. That you can find anywhere.

Yeah, maybe you have a certain point. But at the same time, this is MUCH less than that when you consider that that has much more about it than this!

In theory, you're absolutely correct. But you have to factor in that That is considerably larger than This. That is much more sprawled out. But This is much more dense. Apples and oranges, my friend.
