Huh?I actually spelled it wrong(you did too),its MOBIL NOT MOBILE.I was not talking about "gas stations".You should know that the Mobil Travel Guide is considered the Gold Standard in the hospitality industry in America. To get a 4 or especially a 5star rating is VERY hard to achieve. Many states or cities do not have even ONE at all.Establishments would Kill to even get 2stars or ranked at all by the Mobil Guide.Mobil Travel Guide: Listing Hotels of Houston, Texas (http://mobiltravelguide.howstuffworks.com/houston-tx-hotels-list.htm?pagenbr=2&minRating=0 - broken link) Dallas Restaurants:
7# of- 4 stars
No 5 star Dallas Hotels
1 of each 4 & 5 Star
Houston Dining
1 4 star and NO 5 stars(so much for your "theory on Houston's Dining options) Houston Hotels
3 4star ,and NO 5 Star
Atlanta Dining;
1 5Star and 4 4Star Dining Atlanta Hotels:
3 4Star and 1 5Star
You would think with such an "International city" Houston would do better than Dallas or Atlanta.
Personally I think Dallas IS more worldly than Houston. Some would make the argument that Dallas is the preeminent city in the South.I personally disagree because I think its Atlanta.Although I would not fault anyone that that said it would be Dallas.I don't think Houston is refined as either Dallas or Atlanta.Dallas should get its props more, but people in Houston have a "complex about their city".Anyone saying that Houston is more well known than Dallas is a little delusional.Every measure out there says its Dallas.
Mobil is the gas station. I'll stick with Forbes' ranking.
Don't be so quick to dismiss Mobil travel guides just because they didn't rank Houston as highly as Forbes did. Mobil's travel guides have been well renowned for years and were some of the first travel guides that had such extensive rating systems. They started back in the 1950's, so I'm pretty sure they know what they're talking about, gas station or not. I'd trust them before I'd trust Forbes, which has been called into question over their rankings in many things anyhow.
They're not as prestigious as the Michelin Guides ( A tire company! ) , but they're well known.

YOU'RE welcome!!!!! Does this bug other people besides me? The two words are not interchangeable. Your is a possessive pronoun that attributes possession. You're a contraction that means "you are".
It doesn't bother me. I see tons of spelling errors on CD. I always ignore them. Most people in America are bad spellers so I see tons of spelling errors all the time.

It is not a spelling error...those don't bother me as much. This is a usage error - like using the wrong word.
San Antonio doesn't have Light rail, but a huge system is planned. BTW, vacant land San Antonio gets more annual visitors than Dallas, 26 million vs 22-23 million according the latest stats.

That was the point of the poster. DART is here and now and they opened another new rail, the Green Line which is scheduled to be completed by 2010. The Orange Line is also under construction. It will take San Antonio years to catch up to Dallas in terms of light rail.

Oh i know, but San Antonio will have a system, that includes, a historic street car system, commuter, brt bus system, by the time the city reaches 3 million, roughly 2020-2025, way before Dallas did when it reached 3 million. SmartWaySA.com
