The issue I am seeing, that is starting to kind of creep into my head more and more, is the Women Factor. Now, I am sure that there are wonderful, intelligent women of character throughout Portland, but if you've ever been to both cities, you would understand that Austin tests well in this category.

Yes it seems Portland is overrun with frumpy, overbearing, toothless hags. This could be attributed to the fact that no one exercises unless they can do it in spandex, that our water is non fluoridated (the tooth decay), or maybe it's the ravaging effects of an over-consumption of alcohol. Maybe it's the lack of sun, after all, not everyone looks great with nearly translucent skin. My first month here I thought everyone looked like they had colds, constantly.

It's probably a little bit of all those things, but really it is that Portland is one of the few cities where females outnumber males, so they don't feel they have to prove anything by looking attractive, or seeming available in any way.

Also I have heard Austin has the most gorgeous women anywhere, so you're standards my be too high lol.

And this is the only reason why I always boost Austin.

I've never been to Portland. I moved here in SF back in April and have been meaning to visit. I hope there is some degree or neat volume of beautiful single women there. If not, I'm not too bummed cause SF has it going pretty good too.

Portland... Austin...

Hellooo EWWW both backwater towns that just... EW, no offense but, these cities give me the creeps and are full of pretense who think they are on the level of San Francisco or Dallas, or even MORE so from some people I have seen. At least give some good options like Seattle and Houston for crying out loud.
