I'm looking to buy a second home to stay at some of the time and to rent out some of the time. It seems that prices are higher in Vermont but taxes higher in New York. I am looking from Burlington North in Vermont and Ticonderoga North in New York. Any suggestions or pro's and cons of either? Looking for a home you can live in year round as oppossed to what they call a CAMP.

I'm not familiar with the area, but I would imagine that you get alot more attention from Burlington living on the Vermont side than from Albany living on the New York side.
