Virginia. Virginia's public schools are MUCH better than Florida's. Virginia has less crime than Florida. Virginia also has four weather seasons which for variety sake is good.

Florida for diversity and culture, better weather, better beaches. Florida cities are also more interesting and vibrant.

Virginia for me, especially Northern Virginia. The access to culture,job opportunities, and wages that is offered from being in the DC area is unmatched by anything in Florida. Also I prefer 4 distinct seasons.
