Which city do you feel is more dangerous? Lately with so many crime stories in Atlanta it seems like it's becoming the most dangerous city in the United States, with a murder almost daily.

Oh come on...let's look at factual information rather than fall for media sensationalism...there have been 23 murders through May 2009, and there has not been anything near daily murders at any time since I've lived in this city. The June numbers haven't been published as of yet, but there haven't been more than 8 murders this month or in any single month this year.

There are a lot of news stories that cover different murder topics - murder trial, murder suspect, murderer arrested, murderer sentenced, accused of murder, attempted murder, etc. Some of the same stories get media coverage every day, while some stories are about murders that happened last week, last month, last year.

There are more than enough "which places is more dangerous and/or safe" type threads on here now. City data has tons of data on the site here, and there are already threads that allow for discussion for any city you like. There isn't a need for tons of threads on the same topic, each for two cities, etc.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
