CC Philly is indeed great. However, I'm afraid that "compact" in this case has less to do with "more in less space" than simply "smaller." Do you think Philly has more to do in a given square mile than NYC? To me, that would make it more "compact."

That being said, I do love downtown Philly. Philadelphia is right up there with my fave cities.
