Philadelphia and Midtown Manhattan come close though.
Midtown Manhattan sure, but Philadelphia? You must be kidding.
BTW, these skyline comparisons with Chicago need to stop. Chicago is the best, Miami is cool looking but that's really it, Chicago beats Miami handily.

lmao at midtown being close, that's not even a factual opinion. But chicago skyline is indeed nice.
To me Lower Manhattan has a nicer skyline than both Chicago and Midtown but they're both great too. Love the way it curves along the river and 1 WTC looks great now. Can't wait until its open and when the PATH terminal is complete. Downtown is on the move!
I have been to both Chicago and Miami (i'm from Chicago though). I vote Chicago not only because my native spirit tells me to, but because in terms of skyline it is more impressive, diverse, appealing, etc... For its size Chicago is surprisingly clean especially when compared to New York City (which you dont need to visit to know it's pretty dirty). A lot to do and see in Chicago. Really good food and entertainment. I love walking down Lake Shore Drive or even any of the inner city roads. Ill never get tired of looking up 1,000 feet plus at our 6 tallest buildings. In Miami, however, I walked along the scenic U.S. 1 (or Brickell Avenue) which goes through the middle of down town. I was very impressed with everything about it really. Based on its 500,000 people Miami has a lot of big buildings and a dense commercial district. It is also a very clean city, probably one of the cleanest major cities in the country. Miami has a lively fun culture brought on by its south american and Cuban inhabitants who also give it the best restaurants i have ever been to. If you ever want to see a Lamborghini or Ferrari out for an evening drive it's the town to go to. Also a breathtaking city at night. So in all i love both cities and i dont judge a city until ive been there (except New York which i personally dont really want to visit).
Miami will beat Chicago one day because they are still building, but Chicago for now.
I can tell you that Miami has no where near the number of highrises chicago has planned, chicago has the largest increase in downtown population since 2010.
