In terms of area I beleive Jamaica, Queens is the largest neighborhood neighborhood in New York City. Jamaica, Queens may also be the largest suburban neighborhood as well but it includes an urban area and JFK airport but it's primarily suburban.

I am not sure if you mean inside or outside the city limits. For Columbus Ohio I can give you both: inside the city limits - Linden ( big enough to be divided in two ,North Linden and South Linden) and outside -Upper Arlington.

As far as city neighborhoods, either Eastwood, Meadowbrook or Valley(split as North and South Valley).

As far as suburban neighborhoods, Bayberry in the town of Clay, Radisson in the town of Lysander and Fairmount in the town of Camillus.

Biggest neighborhood within my city ( not metro) is church hills, not a diserable area.

Second I think would be Groesbeck, a more diserable area of the city.

Default In Boston..

..without looking anything up, I would say that the largest neighborhood (Sq. miles) might be Dorchester, and the most "suburban-looking" neighborhood would have to be West Roxbury--I don't think that it would have any competitors.

South Beach is the largest neighborhood in Miami Beach. But, it's hardly suburban.

Alief in Houston. It's home to Houston's Chinatown, but also some of Houston's worst neighborhood. The area is reffered to as "S.W.A.T" (South West Alief Texas).

You are right about Dorchester, but parts of Hyde Park would give West Roxbury competition on the suburban description. Readville in particular is veyr suburan, much more so than West Roxbury. If you consider the Centre St. corridor in Westie, that's actually pretty urban.
