Lol my brother Funky Town is where its at? D-town would not be the D without the funk to the west. Its all good though----DFW as a whole is where its at right now.

Fort Worth Dunbar vs. Dallas South Oak Cliff come to mind when you think of local rivalries between Dallas and Fort Worth. They usually meet up in for the state championship for basketball every other year.

Well, I have no idea, but just reading this thread makes me want to go site seeing.
I moved here a few months ago and I'm thinking about where I'll go when my lease is up. I think I will start looking in Fort Worth as well as the Dallas area now.

Thanks for the good read everyone - and the great pics!

Have fun!
My suggestions:

Fort Worth: Sundance Square in Downtown
Arlington: Cowboys Stadium
Dallas: Six Floor Museum.

I'll say the Fort for this one. I do a lot of lead generation in the state of TX and for what my company does, Fort Worth is just better than Dallas. Skyline view, Dallas wins hands down. Surprisingly though the Fort Worth Metro is actually larger than the Dallas metro which I found very surprising.

How is it larger??? Dallas County has 2,366,511 people. Tarrant County(Fort Worth) has 1,717,435 people! The other counties population are between 700,000 and 5,000

DFW Metroplex Counties

I agree! There are so many great things to do in both cities (though, I have lived in both and can say without hesitation that FW provides a better quality of life overall). Check out Frugalinforthworth.wordpress.com for weekly ideas for cheap/free things to do in both cities (but mostly focused on Fort Worth).

I voted for Ft Worth, not because I dislike dallas, but because it is more laid back and still near to the cosmopolitan city of Dallas

Is Bearfire the shopping resort planned for DFW or is it a totally different project?

If you want laid back try Lakewood / East Dallas or North Oak Cliff - you don't have to go to Fort Worth (or Austin).
