Why not?
It's not like the two cities are RIGHT next to eachother like Minneapolis and St. Paul.

I don't like the comparison because they are in one metro area. You can easily go to one from the other. So as long as you live in one of the two cities, you get the amenities of both of them. They are not as close as Minneapolis & St. Paul but still very close, and besides they have a train connecting them while the light rail connecting the Twin Cities hasn't started construction yet. I don't see the point of comparing them, but I voted for Dallas.
Fort Worth might be smaller and have a smaller skyline than Dallas, but it is MUCH nicer. Downtown Fort Worth is very walkable, has numerous downtown housing options, has commuter rail, nice restaurants, and pretty much everything that Dallas has. Fort Worth also has the Stockyards, which is a nice addition as well. Downtown Dallas is not that walkable, has a bunch of tall skyscrapers for show, and just seems very impersonal.
Alot of you may not know this, but Dallas and Fort Worth have been rivals ever since the mid to late 1800's....
For those of you who don't see the point in comparing the two..... ask that same question for all the other city vs. city threads on here....
Besides, I've always wanted to know if it came down to just these two, which one would it be? I'll never know the real answer since I can't ask every single person on this earth, but I can at least get info from some of the C-D fourmers....
Oh, and I'm not gonna vote. For those of you who've read my previous posts, you could take a good guess on who I'd vote for.
I think if I had the opportunity to move to the Metroplex, I might move to Fort Worth over Dallas. It just seems to be more active and have a better downtown.
