Which would you rather live if given a chance?

Miami looks more beautiful and the people look much better.

San Diego. No Hurricanes, Nice weather not always humid and there isnt a thunderstorm every day. Pacific ocean and a great city. Miami is also very very nice but in living I would go to San Diego. Plus San Diego is near LA.

San Diego by far, the California lifestyle is much more appealing and the surrounding areas (LA, Orange County, etc.) are much more interesting.

What's this "California lifestyle" I keep hearing about?

I don't get it.

I think I'd enjoy Miami a bit more. They're overbuilt, so the housing (especially condos) are very cheap. Lower taxes, lots of college girls coming down to vacation...stuff like that appeals to me.

Trust me, Miami is not more beautiful. It's pretty ugly, really.

Also... San Diego, you are close to another country as well as more options than just beach, plus you have LA...

Miami, you might feel like you are IN another country.
