NYC comes in at a firm second. Other places that I know have some production are Austin, Texas, Wilmington, North Carolina, and Orlando, Florida.

Maybe in terms of better films (opinion), but definitely not in number of productions or production dollars.

If you were to include Canadian cities, Toronto currently has more major productions underway than Vancouver.

Are you asking about which cities movies are being shot in or where production offices and studios are located?

Yep. I an others on here agree that LA STILL takes the cake over NYC in the film and TV industry. Not saying NYC isn't up there, it DOES come in a STRONG and easy 2nd. But still not 1st.

mainly where production offices and studios are located, but cities that movies are filmed in can be relavent to where the studios/offices are. Im pretty much asking what cities are more overall movie cities compared to other US cities, besides Hollywood.
