Yeah, I know right?

This is the battle between the biggest, most diverse and powerful states in America. Either choice you can't lose

The same reason you said it dosen't matter how good a stadium is in the giants stadium vs cowboys stadium thread, when the thread was about stadiums. Not teams.

Our economy has grown by $800 Billion since 2000 and California's population(now over 38 Million) is on track to surpass 40 Million by 2011 or 2012.

I guess we didnt get the e-mail telling us to stop growing?

It's who is gracing the California borders these days(poor.illegal.foreign born...the studies you allude to were done between 04-06...I have been a part time resident of California since 83 through family vacation property, and a full time resident between 99-2001.2003-2004..I have personally witnessed the slow decline of California and watched those who have left to my home state.. The educated, creative class have been leaving for years;now it's becoming increasingly pronounced.
It's reputation as a masive failure as a state and it's sinking economic realities are starting to set in.. This is not even close to the exodus of the early 90's.. Colorado is a virtual graveyard for ex -Californians..I defended that state for years..even in the midst of all it's most serious mid 90's grievances..Think what you want..but it's dying quickly..
