Downtown Toronto has around 5.7 million square feet of office space under construction right now in multiple large towers. That's more than any other CBD in North America.
Canadians use apartment units in their office data since their telecommuting is higher share. DT Philly has more office space u/c.

LOL care to share a reputable source.. I'd be curious which city's CBD has more office space existing and U/C.. I don't think in a Philly vs Toronto comparison of CBD office space the numbers will be kind to Philly at all... Anyone with a pair of eyes would see that. The 5 big Bank HQ's in T.O alone probably encompass more office space than the entire Philly CBD.
Let me help you with a source - sadly Philly doesn't register well at all against Toronto or even against American peers - either that or Avisonyoung completely ignored Philly which doesn't make sense other than the fact that not a lot of office dev was going on in 2013! Houston and D.C are going through huge booms but the dev is in suburban areas whereas by the looks Toronto and NYC are the powerhouses in the U.S and Canada for Office Space Construction in the DT areas - not a big surprise!

You are without a doubt, the world's biggest idiot. As of Q3 2013, downtown Philly had no office space under construction. Downtown Toronto had 5.7 million square feet. More than any American CBD, including downtown and midtown Manhattan. These screencaps are from the Q3 2013 Colliers North American Office Outlook:
Philadelphia only has 43 million square feet of office space IN TOTAL. In all likelihood, Philly has never had 5.7 million plus square feet of office space under construction at one time. Toronto has more than 5.7 million square feet of downtown office space u/c, more than even downtown Manhattan.
I'm thinking that you are incapable of telling the truth. I haven't seen you tell the truth once yet in any of your posts in any thread.
Canadian cities are booming right now. Even Calgary has almost as much construction going on as Downtown Manhattan and more than Midtown Manhattan. Vacancy rates are low but this pace of construction is obviously not sustainable long term.
I don't think people outside the city really understand the scale of development that has been and continues to go on in Toronto. They just have this frozen perception of a skyline in their mind from 10 years ago.
Indeed. The skyline is undergoing noticeable changes on a monthly basis these days. Mongo at Urban Toronto compiled this handy list of the top twenty tallest buildings currently under construction in Toronto. This list alone would make up an entire skyline of a major city, and in Toronto it's just a drop in the bucket.

Great list - I wasn't aware of some of these so thanks! Aura is turning out quite nicely and is very imposing in the skyline now. The two Ice's, two Harbour's and Ten York are 5 +200 m towers U/C in practically a city block.. Insane!
