Population from 2008 Here: List of United States cities by population - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My prediction: 2010

New York City-8,463, 710
Los Angeles-4,023,080
Chicago-2,849,114
Houston-2,400,210
Phoenix-1,574,924
Philadelphia-1,449,935
Dallas-1,310,,579
San Antonio-1,300,480
San Diego-1,289329
San Jose-1,006,892

I will be back with the other half later

San Antonio today has 1,351,000 so by 2010 probably 1,425,000, close to surpassing Philadephia proper.

So you think Phoenix will add only 7000 people from July 2008-2010?

I can see New York at 8,400,000-8,500,000, probably closer to 8,500,000.

Chicago's going to gain. If you've seen the city the North Side, Loop, and Near South Side have really done great this past decade. I'd say 2,900,000-3,000,000

I'm glad to see Houston is at least trying to reverse their sprawl but I hate how they annexed so much. I'd say 2,300,000-2,400,000. Somewhere in the middle is where its probably going to fall.

if Philly combines with NYC the city population will gain. That won't be until at least 2020. Now I say 1,300-1,400,000

I like how you show so much contempt for Phoenix sprawl yet you have no issue with New York bleeding into Philadelphia.

God damn sunbelt! Get off my lawn!
