Not a fair comparison. Boston has about 2 million+ people than Pittsburgh and Charlotte alone. You would expect a 5,000,000 metro to outdo a metro with only 2,000,000 in a lot of things.

What's really the point of this thread?

Transportation:
Boston, Pittsburgh, Charlotte
Food: Boston, Pittsburgh, Charlotte
Shopping: Boston, Pittsburgh, Charlotte
Quality of Life: Don't really know
Skyline: Pittsburgh and Boston have top 10 - 12 skylines. Charlotte makes top 20

Overall, I'd say Pittsburgh; however Boston is FAR more progressive than the other cities and therefore is almost tied with Pittsburgh. Charlotte, other than having some tall and mostly "boxy" skyscrapers, is not in the running...IMHO.

Seriously Boston14, this is a thread that Boston should not be in. Replace Boston with Indianapolis, Kansas City, Cleveland, or Cincinnati and then we might have a more fair fight.

Boston wins this thread hands down BTW!
