"There isn't any," was a sufficient answer. Thank you for correcting yourself.

At best, Albuquerque can maybe compare with small metros like Albany, NY or Grand Rapids, MI. Even then, I'm not 100%
confident.

NM is one of the poorest states in the nation, and Albuquerque has a small population.
For the uneducated... Albuquerque is at 521,999 the 34th Largest city in America. Small no? Horrid shopping yes. But dont say dallas is better becuase it has a stupid bloomingdales. Thats just pity.

Yea, we were poor, not anymore, at least we know how to budget during the recession. We are actually one of the best states now.

if you know a particular brand and your size in it, you can buy it online. I found a particular line of levis that I like. The first pair I bought in a store. Now I just go online look for the number and my size and buy it on ebay (new). I have done the same with others also like A&F, L.E.I., etc. I have them so I know how they fit.

Shoes are a bit more difficult though.

I definitely agree about what someone said earlier, which is: which of us have the money to go out and shop at Neiman Marcus and other places that carry designer clothes anyway?

This thread is like an excuse to try and brag about all the wealth in each metro-area. Truth is, most of us are shopping at the same chain stores that can be found in any large city throughout the nation.

Which one of you could tell me which city REALLY has the best shopping, from personal experience at high end places not found in other cities?

OK so because Dallas doesn't have a Bloomingdale, it automatically mean it's shopping sucks?

Hahaha,
Seriously, most people these days (and especially in this recession) buy their clothes at places like Target, Walmart, Kohl's, and Costco.

I don't think the shopping sucks there, it's just no different from all the other major cities in the U.S. outside of NYC, Los Angeles, and Miami.
