I lived over half a century in NYC. I now, unfortuantely, live in the south, georgrahically speaking. I know many people don't consider Florida to be the south, but if I was any farther south I would be SWIMMING.

I think the exact same thing about how people on here who have a bias towards colder, northern cities. A good amount of people on here are biased homers but it seems like some of the northern posters start the most sh*t on here than any other subgroup.

IS "colder, northern cities". California and Florida are anomolies. Plus, the majority of the country IS NOT the SOUTH.

Actually the majority of the country is in the SOUTH as it's most populated part of the country of the four major regions in the US. The Northeast is where our country began though but it's not where the majority settled to live. In fact the Northeast is the LEAST populated of the four regions in the US. And even if what you said was true, which it is not, then that would indicate an inherent northern bias on this site, so either way you're wrong.

is the South? The Northwest is the South? Add all these regions, even your California which ISNT the South, and you can see that the SOUTH is not the most populated area.

You can't really blame the "Northern Homers" for everything because I've noticed that a lot of the time its sparked by little sneaky comments that a lot of people don't pick up.

No, it is always started by someone in the North throwing an insulting lie about other places in the country and then wondering why in the world all the others rip them for it

Default What are you talking about?

No the Midwest is THE MIDWEST.

The Northwest is part of the WEST.

From the link:
The Northeast region includes: Conn., Maine, Mass., N.H., N.J., N.Y., Pa., R.I., and Vt.

The Midwest includes: Ill., Ind., Iowa, Kans., Mich., Minn., Mo., Neb., N.D., Ohio, S.D., and Wis.

The South includes: Ala., Ark., Del., D.C., Fla., Ga., Ky., La., Md., Miss., N.C., Okla., S.C., Tenn., Tex., Va., and W.Va..

The West includes: Alaska, Ariz., Calif., Colo., Hawaii, Idaho, Mont., Nev., N.M., Ore., Utah, Wash., and Wyo.

I know you don't like facts that don't jive with narrow outlook on life but it is what it is. Actually PROVE the south is not the most populated region or that the North is with something then. You have provided NOTHING to show otherwise and have nothing to stand on besides your own biased opinion against anywhere outside the Northeast.
