That's because 2 times as many blacks live in my county alone then the entire state of Arizona... And the Puerto Rican chicks in Cleveland are fine... I like PR, Cuban, Domincan chicks > Mexican

Yeah, actually President Obama frequently mentions the Cleveland Clinic as a role model for "good health care". Still, I have to admit Ohio gets a lot of press time for its suckish economy, as well.

Arizona gets a lot of press time for its awesome golf courses, but a lot for its suckish economy and lack of water, as well.

BOTH of the states have problems, not just Ohio. I think that was the point the OP was trying to make, but us Ohioans are getting so used to being attacked nowadays by everyone from Washington to LA to Wall Street that we've figured that playing offense is the best defense.

I have a feeling that more people who have commented here have actually been to Ohio rather than Arizona, which seems to be the case with many of the CD posters and their ignorance regarding Arizona. Incidentally, I like many others who HAVE been to Ohio realize the importance of the healthcare facilities up there. It's big, and that is why you'll find many immigrants living in places like downtown Cleveland who work in these places. However, please do not dismiss Arizona. Arizona in its own right has some great healthcare facilities including one of the three Mayo clinics.

BTW, the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction was in Canton. My sister and her husband attended it and the banquet at the Canton Civic Center. It happens every year there.
Someone mentioned when is OHIO in the media.Ohio, meaning the state. Thank you for setting me straight. Is Cedar point in Cleveland?

I don't really have the time or patience to read all of these comments(they anger me) But I'm sure someone has already mentioned one of the seven wonders of the world. THE GRAND FREAKING CANYON.

The only thing bad here is our economy and summer weather. (I was frezzing my butt off a few hours ago, and I live in phoenix.) And the whole Tucson thing on Jan. 6th. But otherwise, we're pretty awesome. In the middle of January you can be in Northern AZ and go skiing, and in southern AZ at the same time, you can be sitting outside reading a book with a tank top and shorts on.

So... for those of you that haven't already figured this out, Arizona wins.

Do not listen to Ohioan's they are always protective and bias of their state. I am from Spain, and moved to PHX AZ, and then to Ohio.

Ohio is just weird. Logic is not a part of that state. "U" turns are forbidden...haha! Imagine that!

Ohio doesn't have anything. Their best city 'Columbus' has no identity, it wants to be like 'Chicago' and does a pretty bad job at trying. Users mention history as important? Well America has almost no history, except for the Indian American natives...and Navajo Nation and all the Hopis which live and border Arizona...Ohio has no Indian American diversity...history leans tilted to AZ. Either way, its a poor argument for Ohioans choosing their state as better.

To say Arizona has no history is to say, Indian Americans 'are not part of history' which seems racist to start with.

In Ohio people are rude, not open minded. They always stare at people, and judge. Lot of xenophobia, and racism. Migration is not segregated. The downtown in Columbus is notorious for becoming ghetto at night-time. Everything closes at 2:30 and regardless of what users here say, it gets empty at night time.

In Ohio they try to pass the same migration law than in AZ, but why? they don't have nearly the illegal migration problems in AZ, or NM, or Alabama or Texas. Ohio borders Canada...but they are narrow minded, so forget understanding why??

Then the weather kicks inn.. One day I found myself trapped in cold snow, and it was the nastiest feeling. Also weather changes really quickly just like the peoples moods. Someday's Ohioans seem very friendly and another really depressed and mad for no reason. Get used to that if you move here.

Cleveland is also trash, its even worst than Columbus and again people make the scene 'so don't get frustrated'.

Every single person that I have meet from other states'the majority' says that Ohio is the worst state. People from New Jersey, New York, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska... no one likes the mentality of this state.

People that protect Ohio in this forum are bias, and not telling the other side of the coin. They now dam well that Ohio is trash, but the try really hard to protect it like some user said before.

Arizona wipes Ohio down the toilet. You cannot beat nature and that is Arizona biggest asset. Crime rates and murder are bigger in Ohio in general ' Just check the statistics'. Ohio cities are the worst.

Arizona people were hospitable to me, even the bad sides people well cool. But Ohioans are rude and always, I mean always try to one up you in any story. Its crazy man. You tell them you been in China, and they will reply I was in Mexico...go figure!!

I thought Texas was racist, but dam Ohio is even worst. Martin Luther king was right about the mid-west. Don't move to Ohio unless, you really are in economic trouble.

Ohio State University is 89% white, Arizona State University is 51% white and more diverse. It shows a squeaky difference.

Ohio is jealous, of almost every other state out there and Ohioans are always trying to pretend and 'sweet talk' of other states having financial faults and crime, but dam, not as many as Ohio.

Its a depressing state and everyone comes a from a small farm and when they move to bigger urban areas they pretend they are from New York City and live a life that does't belong to them and do a pretty bad job. A guy raised with chickens, trying to be a Gucci designer. That' Ohio.

Arizona all day!!!!

Ohio sucks!

But there's one strange thing I've noticed in Arizona... A LOT OF PEOPLE FROM OHIO!!! Youngstown, Cleveland, Akron, Canton, you name it, there are a lot of families from Ohio in the Phoenix area (well, at least amongst people I've met...)

I hate cold and Ohio does cold all too well...

To me, there's no place in Ohio that compares to Sedona, Lake Havasu, or even Phoenix. Bisbee is a bore, but it is a little nice and that copper mine around the corner is pretty interesting. Best thing about the Sierra Vista/Bisbee area to me is............ NOGALES, MEXICO!!!

I like the desert, I like the mountains, I like the people (for the most part), I like the ranches, I like the malls, I like hanging out at the casinos and going on (that poor excuse for seafood, lol) all you can eat crab legs night, even though the crab legs are usually just sad... Still a good time.

I know Cincinnati is known for it's zoo, but PHX Zoo is still nice. I haven't made it to the wildlife park yet, but I hear it's better.

The city seems to be all around cleaner than any Ohio city to me (granted, I've only been to Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Canton and Youngstown).

The air smells fresher. The weather kicks butt! There are lots of nice green space parks all around the Scottsdale/Tempe/Mesa area... I can get most places that I need to around PHX/Scottsdale without having to get on the freeway.

I like the D-Backs stadium and the team. Arizona also has that Univ. of Phoenix Stadium. The Superbowl won't be in Ohio any time in the near future.

I already can't stand Ohio State, let alone Big 10 all together. Don't care for any Cleveland teams or Cinicinnati teams (Ravens fan).

I have almost nothing point in favor of Ohio for me...

I also like the food better in Arizona. From Sonora dogs in Tucson, to steak in Scottsdale. Now, don't get me wrong, Arizona is not nearly on my culinary favorite places list, but neither is Ohio. I just haven't found a single thing about that whole state that I care for. Haven't been to King's Island or Cedar Point, but I imagine that those would be the only 2 things I would like.

Hmm...Ohio is best used as a launching pad toward other things, which is why it has so much difficulty retaining its college graduates. Good cheap place to live while attending OSU, OU, UC, etc and perhaps an internship or years' experience in your chosen profession (if you can find a job) before migrating to somewhere better like New York, California, Chicago, etc.
However, is Arizona one of those better places? Not really, but for some reason Ohioans are in love with Arizona, Florida and the Carolinas. I suppose Ohio always lags behind the rest of the nation for that very reason: failure to think big.

Ohio is trash. But Ayou are wrong about something! Many people from new York and California are moving to ohio because scarce job opportunities and high prices are preventing home owners from paying their houses.

People from arizona are not moving to Ohio, instead it is people from larger populated areas whom seem to find not enough opportunities to survive. Mainly California and new York!

The point of the topic is that AZ is just a better state by a mile!
