Where you are born doesnt make you better than anyone. All of my family is from NYC area, I just happened to be the first generation of my family to be born in FL.. So if my parents never moved to FL and i was born in NY i would be better than who i am, just because i was born in NY and not FL? That makes no sense. I would of been the same person either way. I go to NYC every year, i was raised in a NY family, I have the same morals, and mind set of most New Yorkers because of that. And I've noticed that people in my part of FL are basically the same.
BTW FL is a lot more famous than texas, maybe not as important, but its deff more famous. I should be the one with the over sized ego who brags too much, but no im not annoying like that. Im proud to be a floridian and im proud to be child of a long line of New Yorkers. But im mature enough to respect every region of this country. Unlike some ppl on here.

Texas "ego"
1. People who think most Texans have an ego are basing this more on stereotype than reality.
2. I think we all know that on this forum, Texas and the Sunbelt in general are generally not treated in an unbiased manner or usually spoken of very fairly.
3. Texans trying to rightly defend themselves against the stereotypes, ignorance and bias will be accused of having an ego. So, I won't bother any further.

When has FL ever been more famous than TX?? They are about the same, people know about TX just like they know about FL. Maybe people know more about FL (Miami, Disney world, beaches, etc) than Texas, but FL isn't more famous.
Besides, FL is nothing to brag about my friend, especially during these times. TX has the rights atm since you want to go there.

I'm saying famous. doesnt have anything to do with how the economy is. FL attracts more tourists per year than texas. Don't get me wrong, I like texas. I was just saying in general FL is more famous. I know Texas is more important than Fl when it comes to GDP, but FL isnt too far behind http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...y_GDP_(nominal). I just dont think ppl should brag so much and think that texans are superior to everyone else cause thats just not true. Your no better than me cause your from texas, and im no better than you cause im from FL.
